Max2Play und USB Stick/Festplatte mounten

Hallo,

ich habe von http://www.max2play.com/max2play-image/ das Image auf den Pi installiert. Das sind sehr einfach und die Einrichtung über die Grafische Oberfläche war auch ein Kinderspiel.
Ein USB Stick ist am PI angeschlossen (8 GB. FAT )
Nun wollte ich den USB Stick mounten über die ich meine Musik im Squeezebox Radio abspielen kann. Leider findet der SB Server den Stick nicht.
Das heißt, im Menü der SB finde ich den vorher angelegten Pfad /media/usb nicht und somit kann ich auch keine Musik anlegen.

WAS mache ich falsch ?

Ich bin nach dieser Anleitung vorgegangen.

Bitte beachten bei Samba Freigaben:
Mit Samba können Verzeichnisse für das Netzwerk freigegeben werden. Wenn z.B. eine Festplatte über USB angeschlossen ist, so kann diese für andere im Netzwerk freigegeben werden. Es ist zwingend nötig ein Passwort zu vergeben!
Beispiele #1 - USB-Festplatte freigeben mit Lese und Schreibrechten:
Name: usbfreigabe
Pfad: /media/usb
Beschreibbar: yes
Create Mode: 0777
Zum Einbinden in Windows System: Rechtsklick auf "Computer" > "Netzlaufwerk verbinden" > beliebiges freies Laufwerk wählen und als Serverpfad "\\max2play\usbfreigabe" eingeben. Anschließend Benutzernamen "root" und das gewählte Passwort eintragen.

Ich meine das max2play hat Pfade ála usb0, usb1 etc.

Logge Dich mal per SSH auf den Pi, stecke den Stick an und gib

dmesg
ein. Dann siehst Du unter welchem Device der Stick erkannt wurde. Dementsprechend kannst Du dann im Webif den mount anlegen.

Die Samba-Anleitung bringt Dich da nicht weiter. Das ist, damit Du den Stick als Netzwekfreigabe hast. Dafür muss er aber erstmal eingebunden sein.

Normalerweise geht das im max2play automatisch. Prüfen kannst Du das, indem Du per SSH auf den Pi gehst und

eingibst. Dann wird Dir angezeigt, ob und wo der Stick eingebunden ist.

Hallo Noname,

der Vorteil den ich in Max2Play sehe, das sämtliche Einstellungen über die Grafische Oberfläche rfolgen und man eben nicht SSH über Putty benötigt.
Ich habe aber für dich es getan, werde aber aus den Komandozeilen nicht schlauer, vielleicht du:

Warum bekomme ich nach dem Komando egal welchen USB Stick ich reinstecke, keine Komandozeile ?

tail -f /var/log/messages

Alles Sticks werden aber am Pi eingelesen, zumindest leuchtet die LED.
