7.5.3 Release Highlights

This release adds Spotify support, improves Radio reliability, and updates Squeezebox Server.
Spotify on Squeezebox

Spotify is an on-demand music service available in Finland, France, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

* A Spotify Premium account is required to use Spotify on Squeezeboxes. Go here to get started.
* Squeezebox Server is not required for Spotify -- but a Radio or a Touch player with the latest software update are.

Radio Improvements

1. Improved reliability of buttons on front panel of Radio, especially the Power button.
2. In the event of a power failure, Radio's clock will continue to keep time for at least 6 hours -- even without AC power or a battery installed.
* Alarms that occur during power failure will ring only if you have a battery installed. The alarm will ring even if Radio is in power-saving mode.
* When AC power returns the backup alarm will ring for the upcoming alarm when the Radio can't connect to Squeezebox Server or MySqueezebox.com.

Other Improvements

1. Miscellaneous improvements to Squeezebox Server
2. Efficiency improvements to how Boom, Classic, Receiver, and Transporter communicate with MySqueezebox.com. This improves overall performance.
