10th of August.

- Harmony update for the Transporter
1) Software Update to Improve Squeezebox Radio Functionality
Behind the scenes, the Squeezebox team is always working to improve our
products. Recently, we have been working on a few updates to the
Squeezebox Radio. As a result of this work, a notification about the
latest software update will be sent to all Squeezebox Radio Wi-Fi Music
Players that are using Squeezebox software version 7.5 .
Update Highlights:
*Alarm improvements
Improved alarm consistency
Backup alarm volume slowly increases
Backup alarm will stop playing after 1 hour unless stopped earlier
*Reduced random pausing of Internet radio streams
*Improved consistency when pressing preset buttons
*Eliminated random playing of battery charging sound effect
We expect this update to benefit users who connect to MySqueezebox.com.

2) iPeng 1.2.5 is out:
http://www.penguinlovesmusic.com
Available on the app store
What is it?
It's an intermediate iPeng version 1.2.5 .
It's mainly intended to fix iOS4 and SBS 7.6 compatibility issues but it
also has a huge number of changes under the hood that were originally
intended for 1.3.
What does it work on?
Anything that runs iPhone OS 3.0 or later should work.
What's new?
      * Multitasking support. iPeng will support fast app switching and
does it's own flavor of task completion now which means it will
keep running in the background while it's syncing caches so that
the progress bar doesn't stop there. iPeng does NOT permanently
run in the background (no matter what you set that "keep
connection" option to). I found that doing that has an extremely
bad impact on battery life of an iThingy since you usually keep
an app running in the background (it's rather complicated to
stop it) and I don't want everybodys device to have an empty
        battery each morning.
      * Landscape mode. iPeng is now orientation aware and supports both
portrait and landscape orientations. That said: This is only
true for the browse screens, the NowPlaying screen will show a
kind of screen saver with a big cover and a switchable big title
indicator overlay ("Big Cover Art" now makes sense!). There are
also quite a few views that don't fully work in landscape,
        especially Search.
      * Accessibility. iPeng now supports VoiceOver. That's a biggie for
visually impaired people since iPeng is probably one of not too
many options you have then to remotely control an audio device.
AFAIK the only one for a Squeezebox.
      * Localization. iPeng now fully supports localization. Current
translations are limited to German, Italian and Danish. If you
want to help out with an additional one, please let me know.
      * Player/Server handling improved. iPeng now keeps connections to
all servers it sees open and thus will know about the players on
all of these. Also, iPeng will now try to re-connect to the last
PLAYER it was connected to and switch servers if it finds it on
a different one then the last time (there's a setting to change
this). This is a biggie for people using MySB and SBS with only
one player, especially for SB Touch users.
      * WOL changed: Wake-On-LAN is now a per-server setting. If enabled
a server will be shown even if it can't be found. There's also
an option to only manually issue a WOL packet so that you can
still use iPeng with MySB without permanently waking up the
server. iPeng will show a power button on the server for this.
      * MySB Account configuration: You can now change the MySB account
for iPeng in a server setting. Only works while MySB is the
active server. A biggie for me since I don't have to change a
lot of people's accounts anymore. Hopefully.
      * Global Search is now supported and located under "Extras".
      * Track Info. There are now some additional menus item on the
Track Info context menu for the current track, e.g. Album Review
and Biography for remote streams, and global search on current
        track items.
